At the gateway to the Sequoia National Forest, Kern River Brewery is Kernville's only brewpub. This makes KRBC much more than just a restaurant; it's an attraction in itself. Keeping the names of the beer local, providing a simple yet diverse menu and having a comfortable place where everybody knows your name, Kern River Valley residents and visitors alike have found themselves at home.

We have two family friendly restaurants just 100 ft apart, two menu options but same great beer and service available at each location!

We’re Celebrating 20 All Year with special collabs alongside some of our favorite industry friends. Stay tuned for can release dates. Fall Citra Release happens Thursday Nov. 5th - Sunday Nov. 8th.
Twice a year (November and March), we celebrate the release of our award-winning Citra DIPA alongside a special version featuring a new hop variety. It’s one of our favorite traditions.
Join us at the restaurants for a weekend full of special beer releases, live music, great food, and even better company.
We choose this time of year for a reason: fall and spring are our favorite seasons to show off our backyard. With perfect weather for camping, fishing, hiking, biking, and exploring, there’s no better place to enjoy a fresh Citra DIPA. Grab your friends, get outside, and come celebrate fall with us!

Have you had the pleasure of enjoying our Backyard Restaurant yet?
The Backyard has been open since 2016 and continues to grow! When you pull in the parking lot you'll notice a large metal building - yes, it's BIG! The size allows us to continue growing our brewing operations, while also offering an additional restaurant with a new and delicious menu.
The Backyard is open 7 days a week spring through fall for lunch and dinner (winter/off-season hours we're open Thursday-Sunday). If you haven't tried it yet, what are you waiting for!?
